About
I am a commercial photographer specializing in photography that involves capturing beautiful images of spaces and structures. This includes resort and hotel photography, interior and exterior architectural photography, landscape architecture photography, and interior design photography.
I graduated college with a BA degree in Mass Communications. Then I achieved an AA degree in photography. After my formal education I started my photography career by spending a few years in a studio photographing a variety of subjects including lifestyle and food & beverages. I eventually steered my career into the specialties of hospitality photography and architectural photography, and I love it.
It is resort & hotel and architectural photography that I have the most passion for now. Whether it is a hotel, resort, commercial building, or a residential home I enjoy photographing these subjects immensely. I have learned the skills and developed the vision necessary to photograph all aspects of a property from exteriors to interiors. The years of experience in the studio still serve me well when I am requested to do lifestyle or food & beverage photography for hotels and resorts.
I have many years of experience now successfully focused on hospitality, architectural, interior design, and landscape architecture photography. While they certainly have unique differences, all of these specialty areas of photography are related in that they deal with spaces and structures. I apply my photography skills successfully to each one.
In the hospitality field my clients include Hilton, Marriott (including former Starwood hotels such as Westins and Sheratons), IHG, Crown Plaza, and many independent hotels. I am honored to be an Approved Photographer for Hilton Hotels.
